Skin is 70 per cent water, and maintaining its hydration is essential for flexibility and suppleness. When skin is dehydrated, natural levels of hyaluronic acid decrease, and signs of aging start to appear. Launching this week, La Roche-Posay’s Hydraphase Intense Serum and Hydraphase Intense Eyes lock in water and provide 24 hours of hydration.
The serum is a concentrated gel packed with fragmented hyaluronic acid, which reduces water loss and provides long-lasting hydration. The formula also contains moisture-boosting arginine and serine, along with the highest concentration of La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water of any of its products. Hydraphase Intense Eye contains the same benefits of fragmented hyaluronic acid, but for the eye area, instantly hydrating after the first application and reducing fine lines by 84 per cent after four weeks. As with all of La Roche-Posay’s products, the Hydraphase products are suitable for sensitive skin.
Hydraphase Intense Serum and Hydraphase Intense Eyes are available now for $38.50 and $35 at drugstores.
