Sneak peek: Clarins unveils new high-tech lipstick line
Clarins is in a romantic mood this autumn. And to celebrate the French beauty brand is introducing a new true-hold lipstick collection called Rouge Prodige. It’s a high-performance formula that offers rich colour, stunning shine and long-lasting comfort. Tests in the company’s laboratories demonstrated flawless colour all day and into the night. The formula is created with a high fidelity pearl – a new generation of polymer composed of transparent molecules similar to multi-faceted pearls which trap colour pigment. These pearl pigments adhere to the lip surface for a long period of time without running. Like a set of mirrors, the multi-facets reflect the colour of the pigments and amplify their radiance.
What makes this lipstick different from competitors is that it has all the qualities of a genuine lip care product: moisturization, protection and comfort. Extract of laminaria, a succulent algae provides a rich content of fatty acids with highly nourishing benefits. And a combination of ceramides and waxes protect the epidermis from dehydration.
The Rouge Prodige collection is segmented into three different families: fourteen shades of pinks to plum, seven corals to red, and eight beiges to brown. The lipsticks will retail for $26 and arrive in store next month.
