Hot Launch: Natasha Koifman x Aromachology Twentysix

Natasha Koifman x Aromachology Twentysix, $75, 50 ml EDP, at select Hudson’s Bay stores and

The backstory: When two Toronto-based entrepreneurs bonded over their shared desire to support communities in Haiti, the result was Twentysix, a spritz with a philanthropic twist. Natasha Koifman, president of the PR agency NKPR and board chair of Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ), teamed up with Ashlee Posner, co-founder of custom scent-maker Aromachology, on this limited-edition perfume, with all of Koifman’s profits from the project going to APJ and its mission to serve impoverished Haitians. The fragrance is available online and will also unroll at select Hudson’s Bay stores across Canada this month.

The bottle: Minimalist black packaging pays homage to Koifman’s signature monochromatic wardrobe, while the name Twentysix, a lucky number for the public relations pro, reflects the combination of 26 ingredients used.

The notes: This eau de parfum is the answer to Koifman’s long-time habit of layering five different scents to achieve her desired, personalized effect. The top notes include grapefruit and bergamot, over a heart of Moroccan rose, peony, jasmine and tea rose. But vetiver (a fragrant grass grown in Haiti, the world’s largest producer of the ingredient) is the star, partnering with patchouli and Australian sandalwood to form the deep base notes.
