Sales of lip makeup stateside increased throughout 2014, driving the growth of the prestige cosmetics category, according to new stats from The NPD Group. Thirty-three percent of women use lip colour more than once daily, reports the market research firm, and the product’s popularity is on the rise among younger women in particular.
