If the countless YouTube tutorials on getting her beauty look are any indication, Minnie Mouse has still got it. At 98 years old, the Disney cartoon character is the inspiration for a new makeup collection by Sephora, likely to be a hot commodity for beauty-junkie fans of the lovable mouse.
The limited-edition range, which includes five makeup products, a brush set and two mirrors, is an exercise in cute, taking its design cues from Minnie’s polka-dot dress and signature bow. The shades themselves are a nod to Minnie’s timeless style and include a black and white felt eyeliner duo (inspired by the mouse’s “wink”), and a red lipstick embossed with a set of mouse ears and bow.
This isn’t Sephora’s first cartoon partnership; since 2011, the French mega-retailer has released several Hello Kitty collections with packaging featuring the kawaii Japanese cat.
Disney Minnie Beauty by Sephora will land in stores and at sephora.ca in April.
