“I need to start doing makeup tutorials,” Zendaya captioned a recent selfie where she’s sporting an impeccable rose smoky eye. “Yes, please!” was the collective response of her 19.5 million Insta followers, who constantly double-tap the star’s varying beauty looks. Wish granted thanks to CoverGirl, which just signed the 19-year-old singer/actress as its latest spokesperson. The first ad featuring Zendaya, who plays a high-school student turned undercover spy in the Disney sitcom K.C. Undercover, will premiere during the Grammys on City on February 15.
“A big reason I play with beauty and hair is that it’s important to show different kinds of beauty when I’m on the red carpet,” the star told Cosmetics' sister publication, FLARE. “If I went out there and was just like, pretty, all the time, doing the same thing, it can be cool, but you’re also catering to one type of person, and what about all those other kinds of beauty out there?”
