Today, Chanel launched All-Access Beauty, a consumer event at Holt Renfrew Bloor in Toronto, to promote Rouge Coco Stylo, a new line of lip colours with gloss-like shine and a balm-like feel.
The event will continue until April 10, with cinq à sept cocktails every Thursday (5–7 PM), as well as a menu of complimentary services, including the Makeup Master Class for groups of three to five guests—the brand’s new way of enticing shoppers to bring their friends. The music-themed design elements—lipstick keyboard, compact drums, white guitar—encourage Instagrammable moments.
“It’s really rare that an event this big takes place at Chanel in Canada,” according to Géraldine Eckert, public relations for the beauty brand.
Last month, in Hollywood just before the Oscars, Chanel took over the Bar Marmont at the storied Chateau Marmont with the similarly themed “I Love Coco” pop-up, a multi-day installation promoting the same lippy launch.
