ColourPop has announced it’s now shipping globally (excluding Turkey and China). The brand is best known for online buzz over its connection with Kylie Jenner’s cosmetics line. For the record: yes, ColourPop and Kylie’s constantly sold-out Lip Kits are indeed made by the same company.


Retail Happenings

Deciem opened its first stand-alone store in Toronto last week, with a second location set to open in the city within a few months. It’s just the beginning of the Canadian beauty company’s expansion into retail.

BrandSpark International has revealed the “most trusted” brands in Canadian online retail, as voted by consumers in a national survey. The Top 3 in the Beauty & Cosmetics category were Sephora (first place), Amazon (second) and Well.ca (third).


Comings and Goings

Taryn Fisher has joined Estée Lauder Canada in the newly created role of director of communications, overseeing PR, communications and social media for the brands Estée Lauder, The Estée Edit and Aerin. Previously, she was the PR and social media manager for The Body Shop Canada.


Advertising/PR Buzz

Lancôme has appointed Purple PR to represent the brand in the U.S. and Canada, effective immediately.
