Endorsed by trendsetters like Gabbriette and Chappell Roan, super thin brows are trending again. “Makeup feels more playful right now,” says celebrity makeup artist Tami El Sombati. “In 2025, skinny brows are almost a little rebellious after so many years of fuller brows being at the forefront.” The look may seem like it requires a dramatic transformation, but it can be achieved without getting out the tweezers. For less commitment, try shaving your brows. “A single blade facial razor can be a great tool to shape and keep your brows thin, and it’s non-committal,” El Sombati says, adding that plucking can be forever. To achieve thin brows on set, she often glues down natural brows and then conceals them before sketching a skinny brow on top. Depending on your brow shape, she says, you can also try saturating your brow hairs using a firm hold gel, and then pinching your brow hairs together to create a skinnier shape.
