NYX Cosmetics has released renderings of its first Canadian freestanding store, slated to open in downtown Toronto in October. After challenging fans to find and share its “secret” address on social media using the hashtag #NYXintheSIX, the LA-based brand has confirmed that its new space is located at 363 Queen Street West. Currently, NYX’s range of budget-friendly makeup is carried in Canada at Rexall, London Drugs, Lawtons Drugs and Jean Coutu.

Named after the Greek goddess of the night, NYX (pronounced “Nix”) will be expanding its retail presence this fall. The L.A.-based makeup brand, acquired by L’Oréal in 2014, is currently carried at select London Drugs, Rexall and Lawtons stores, but come October it will open its first freestanding Canadian location, in Toronto. The upcoming NYX store in Canada is one of several North American locations set to open this fall and holiday.
