M.A.C to Re-Open on Queen Street West in Toronto

M.A.C Cosmetics will soon be returning to Toronto’s Queen Street West. The brand is slated to open its doors at 368 Queen Street West, just east of Spadina Avenue, at the end of October.

This new location is about a block from M.A.C’s former space at 363 Queen Street West, which closed in 2015 and is now occupied by fast-growing L’Oréal makeup brand NYX.

At 1,500 square feet, the new store will have one private makeup chair and four additional stations. Unlike the previous Queen West location, it won’t carry the M.A.C Pro line, which will still be sold at the Bloor Street West store. Shoppers can also participate in the new-to-Canada M.A.C Select rewards program.

Owned by The Estée Lauder Companies since 1998, M.A.C was launched in Toronto in 1984, and this return to Queen West—a longtime stomping ground for the city’s fashion trend-makers—reflects the brand’s roots as an inclusive place for exploring personal expression.
