What’s your all-time favourite fragrance? I have a soft spot for Chloé, which I discovered on my very first real trip to Paris. I swear I smelled it everywhere I went. And though I abandon it often—either because too many others have it as their signature scent or I discover something else—I keep coming back.

What’s your best new find? Valentino’s Valentina Poudre, a new scent that’s quite soft and powdery and unlike the kind of fragrances I’m usually into, but I keep sniffing it. It may also have something to do with the intriguing concept (it’s meant to evoke bare skin).

How many bottles are in your fragrance collection? I have an edited collection of about 12 fragrances on my shelf—I stress the word “edited.” Almost all of them have notes of some kind of rose. I rotate them seasonally and save the headier ones for wintry days.

What’s your signature spritz style? I dab it on my pulse points. When I can’t make a decision, I’ll layer two scents together.
